Outlier's onboarding process typically takes 30 to 90 minutes and includes creating your account, selecting your areas of expertise, completing skill screenings so we can match you with the right projects, and identity verification to ensure we're building a trusted community. Once you complete the general onboarding, you'll proceed to project-specific onboarding, which varies by project.
How long do projects last?
Project lengths vary depending on the needs of our customers. Once you complete a project, you'll have the opportunity to join additional projects.
How much time should I expect to contribute?
Flexibility is one of our core values at Outlier, which means you choose when, where, and how much you contribute. Your earnings are based on the hours you contribute each week, and you maintain complete control over your schedule with no minimum hour requirements.
