Flexible Working Guidelines

Outlier offers contributors the opportunity to work from a wide range of locations, allowing you to flexibly incorporate Outlier into your life. There are, however, some limitations to where Outlier may be accessed and where accounts may be registered. 

Some of our customers may place further location limitations on some projects, or require contributors from specific states, regions, or countries.

During the onboarding process, you may be required to verify your identity and location by providing a government-issued ID and other personal information to ensure you are located in a location where Outlier operates and where projects are available. Verifying your location also helps us determine which tax forms to provide you. Once you have established your location during this process, the location will be assigned as your Primary Location. 

Relocation
If you relocate to another country, or to another state within the United States, please update your profile with your new Primary Location. You may be required to provide a new government issued ID for your new location.

International Travel
If you plan to travel internationally, be aware that Outlier might not be available in the country to which you are travelling, and that the use of VPNs to mask your presence in a restricted country is not permitted.
