Help Shape AI for the Blind and Low Vision Community
What you will be doing
Use camera + voice to test an AI visual assistant on real-world scenes, objects, and text
Rate AI responses on accuracy, helpfulness, and spatial/directional info quality
Flag incorrect or unsafe responses (esp. around medication ID or obstacle detection)
Provide open-ended feedback on how AI can better serve the BLV community
Complete a brief verification call during onboarding

Blind or low vision with lived daily experience navigating without full reliance on sight
Regular user of assistive tech (screen reader, AI vision app, Braille display, or similar)
Android smartphone (2023 model or newer) with a working camera — required; Samsung Galaxy S series preferred
Native English fluency
Comfortable using voice to interact with AI assistants

** Rates vary based on expertise, skills assessment, location, project need, and other factors. For example, higher rates may be offered to PhDs. For non-core work, such as during initial project onboarding or project overtime phases, lower rates apply. Additional incentives data is based on payments made in the past six months and is updated quarterly. Certain projects offer incentive payments. Please review the payment terms for each project.
