Overview
Outlier connects domain experts like you — seasoned Technical Product Managers and Frontend Architects — with leading AI companies that need high-quality human feedback to train the next generation of autonomous agents. If you speak fluent TypeScript or have a passion for structured documentation, you can earn up to $23/hr doing meaningful work that shapes the future of generative AI. It's fully remote with flexible hours, so you set the schedule.
Key Responsibilites
Drafting High-Density PRDs: Writing exhaustive technical blueprints that define everything from Three.js scene parameters to FastAPI authentication logic.
Technical Auditing: Reviewing the AI's 'trajectories' (its step-by-step execution) to identify where it ignored a schema constraint, missed a responsive breakpoint, or failed a performance target.
Defining the 'Golden Path': Refactoring agent outputs to reach a state of perfect reliability and technical excellence.
Developing Rubrics: Creating objective criteria to evaluate whether the AI successfully translated a complex design system into a functional application.

Ideal Qualifications
2+ years of experience in Technical Product Management, Frontend Engineering, or Systems Architecture.
Exceptional Technical Literacy: You don't need to write the code yourself, but you must be able to specify it. You should know the difference between SQLAlchemy and Pydantic, understand JWT/JWKS auth flows, and be able to define 3D lighting intensities or CSS utility layers.
PRD Mastery: Proven ability to write documentation that covers:
Data Modeling: Entities, fields, and FK relationships.
UI/UX Specs: Exact typography (weights/line-heights), color hex codes, and spacing scales.
Animation/Motion: Precise timings (ms), easing, and physics-based transitions.
Performance: LCP/FPS targets and optimization techniques (e.g., Draco/KTX2).
High-Density Feedback: The ability to look at a model’s failure and explain exactly why the logic failed in technical terms.
