Several large countries are witnessing a decline, including the United States who is 39% below expected. The US now accounts for 24% of the newly confirmed cases, when looking weekly.
Week over week, Russia is also below expected by 21% and is only 4% of the newly confirmed cases in the world.
The United Kingdom is 44% below expected on a weekly basis and is only 4% of the newly confirmed cases in the world.
Japan is also witnessing a significant drop in the number of newly confirmed cases and is 46% below expected.
