In today’s stories, analyzed with automated business analysis, we are reporting more findings based upon data shared by the Center for Systems Science and Engineering (CSSE) at Johns Hopkins University (JHU).
Here’s what we found out recently:
Up and Down in Counties and States
Clayton County in Georgia has seen a slight increase in the number of cases recently. Since February 5th, the county has seen more cases and most recently is 19% higher than expected.
Jefferson County in Louisiana sees a decrease in the number of newly confirmed cases. Their trend started on February 4th and is 29% below expected.
Travis County in Texas is home to Austin and is seeing a nice decline in the number of newly confirmed cases too. Since February 5th, the county has been on average 15% below expected and most recently is 10% below expected.
More good news, Tennessee has seen a decrease in the number of newly confirmed cases week over week. The state is 38% below expected and accounts for 2% of the cases confirmed last week in the United States.
New Normal in Albania
While many locations are on the decline, Albania has hit a new normal and has slightly higher the amount of newly confirmed cases than previously thought.
In Central America, Bolivia sees a decrease in the number of newly confirmed cases. Their most recent decline is 45% below expected.
Nigeria saw a big decrease in the number of newly confirmed cases and is currently 52% below expected.
