New Surges in Global Coronavirus Cases

In today’s stories, analyzed with automated business analysis, we are reporting more findings based upon data shared by the Center for Systems Science and Engineering (CSSE) at Johns Hopkins University (JHU).
Here’s what we found out recently:
New Confirmed Cases Rising Worldwide

Globally, the amount of newly confirmed cases is on the rise. Since October 6th, the trend is up on the amount of people who have currently contracted the Coronavirus. Most recently, it is 13% higher than previous days.

France and the US are contributing the most to this increase.

The country of Georgia has hit a new normal. Their number of newly confirmed cases continues to increase. Since November 4th, the country has had 51% more cases confirmed than previous days.
Down in the Middle East

Morocco is seeing a decrease in the number of newly confirmed cases. A trend started on November 4th and most recently the country is 6% lower than expected.

Also, in the Middle East like Morocco, Israel sees a decline in the number of newly confirmed cases as well with 63% below expected.

Week over week numbers for Argentina are down with regard to the newly confirmed cases. The country is now 17% below expected and accounts for only 2% of the newly confirmed cases globally.
Newly Confirmed Cases Stateside

In a week-over-week comparison, the United States has created a new Benchmark story with the ever-increasing number of new cases that have been confirmed. The US accounts for 20% of the cases worldwide and has shown a 77% increase over expected recently.

Polk County Iowa is seeing an increase in the number of newly confirmed cases as well. Their new figures are 232% higher than expected and this trend has been going on since Oct. 16th.

The County of New York is also on the increase for the newly confirmed cases. Since Oct 17th, the county has been trending up, and most recently is up 68% over expected.

Alaska is also 12% higher than expected. The state has been increasing since October 28th.
