In today’s stories, analyzed with automated business analysis, we are reporting more findings based upon data shared by the Center for Systems Science and Engineering (CSSE) at Johns Hopkins University (JHU).
Here’s what we found out recently:
Globally, we are seeing increases in several countries, including Iraq. Iraq now accounts for 2% of the cases confirmed globally yesterday and is 12% higher than expected.
In North America, Canada also saw a 30% increase over expected in the number of newly confirmed cases. This is the highest amount of newly confirmed cases in one day since late May.
In Asia, South Korea has seen a sharp increase in the number of newly confirmed cases since August 14th. The country’s recent trend has created a new normal trend and is 512% higher than the previous trend.
Domestically, there is better news about the spread of the Coronavirus. Overnight, Nebraska saw a 68% decrease in newly confirmed cases.
Similarly to Nebraska, Minnesota is also seeing a decrease in the number of newly confirmed cases, currently 11% below expected.
