Here’s what we found out recently:
Higher Than Expected Internationally
Globally, Ukraine is seeing an increase in case count since August 6th. Their new count is 9% higher than expected.
Also in Eastern Europe, Hungary is seeing a spike in newly confirmed cases. The country is now 8% higher than expected and has been on the increase since August 6th.
Down in Ohio
Since July 26th, Ohio has seen a decline in the number of newly confirmed cases, 21% under the expected model. The state now accounts for 1% of the newly confirmed cases.
Franklin, Lucas and Cuyahoga counties are contributing the most to this decrease.
