Here’s what we found out recently:
Higher Cases Lead to Expanding Restrictions
Domestically, Georgia sees a record high in newly confirmed cases. The Peach State is currently 107% above expected and accounts for 7% of the cases confirmed yesterday. The State of Emergency has been extended.
Dekalb, Fulton and Glynn counties are contributing the most to this increase. Dekalb and Fulton counties include the Atlanta metropolitan area.
Costa Rica is still on the incline, since May and their new counts are 5% more than expected for the number of newly confirmed cases. The reopening has been halted.
The Philippines is also seeing an increase in the number of cases. They are currently 4% over expected. Partial restrictions are still in place.
Even though their numbers are low, they are still increasing in the number of Coronavirus cases rapidly. Montenegro is seeing a significant increase in the number of cases currently. Their trend started on June 17. Restrictions have been reintroduced.
