Bulgaria sees an increase in the number of cases since June 6. Currently, the country is 34% higher than expected.
Algeria is also seeing a climb in the number of cases confirmed on the last day. This is surprising because they were trending downward previously. Now, they are 11% higher than expected.
South Africa is also seeing an increase in the number of new cases and now accounts for 4% of the new cases globally confirmed yesterday. The country is 9% higher than expected. The country has the highest number of cases of coronavirus in Africa.
Lowering Cases in Russia
Good news for Russia. Their death toll is on the decline and at 42% below expected.
