In today’s stories, analyzed with automated business analysis, we are reporting more findings based upon data shared by the Center for Systems Science and Engineering (CSSE) at Johns Hopkins University (JHU).
(Note: JHU has changed the amount of data they are sharing. The University is not currently reporting recovered cases or US county- or state-level data.)
Here’s the analysis we did on COVID-19 yesterday:
Globally, there have been more than 46,500 new confirmed cases of Coronavirus reported since yesterday. Which countries are contributing to this increase overnight?
While the US had the largest number of new cases reported (12,000 in one day); Spain had the largest increase in new cases reported, doubling in once day from 4,749 to 9,630 and France continues to see a day-over-day increase in new cases. In France, the health agency director, Jerome Salomon, stated that the number of cases has risen to 25,233.
While much of the world is focused on the spread of COVID-19 in key epicenters, it’s also helpful to see emerging trends. Turkey seems to be settling into a pattern of roughly 500 new cases per day.
While overnight, Panama saw their largest number of cases jump to the highest number of confirmed cases for them at 98 in one day.
